The North West Air Ambulance is a registered charity, totally reliant on the continual generosity of people and businesses, across the region, to keep it airbourne. It completes around 850 missions a year,attending many different types of accidents such as sporting, industrial and farming, to mention just a few. The Air Ambulance is able to reach locations and get the injured to hospital faster than by road, and thereby increasing the victims rate of recovery and in many cases, "rate of survival". |

We at BlackpoolTown are helping to increase awareness of the service. Most people know about The Air Ambulance but are probably unaware that it receives no government funding and relies on donations, so the more money we can donate the longer it can fly "saving lives" |
